4 irrefutable reasons to accept the Sark e-Media’s 30 day blogging challenge @saraharrow

This is my 30th blog post in a little more than 30 days as I complete the 30 Day Blogging Challenge at sarkemedia.com.  I do not doubt for a second that this experience has given me the tools, knowledge and motivation to take my blog to the next level.

But those are just words.  Below I give you… more words… But in the form of 4 reasons why you MUST accept the 30 day blogging challenge at sarkemedia.com.

1.  Blogging tips and tools that you don’t know about

There are so many darn tools on the internet to help you internet better on the internet.  I’m not going to list them here because Sarah does a tremendous job of exposing her challengers to them at the appropriate time.  However, I will make a bulleted list of the things you will learn about:

  • How to construct titles for your blog posts that are SEO friendly and impossible to resist.
  • How to create content that will bring your readers back again and again.
  • Where to find awesome media for you blog and how to incorporate them into your work.
  • How to both find and fashion infographics to capture your readers’ eyes and imaginations.
  • How and where to advertise and publicize your blog for maximum visibility.

Geez, there’s more than that.  So much more, because the challenge isn’t 5 days long, it’s 30 days long.  Sign up and find out all there is to learn.

2.  Great people who you probably never would have met

You will encounter so many different people with myriad types of blogs, but with similar goals in mind:  growing their blog and honing their craft.  Some will be on day 17 of the challenge, others on day 2.  Everybody is either somewhere along the 30 day journey or even still hanging around even though they finished the challenge long ago.  The 30 Day Blogging Challenge Facebook page is an incredible place to meet like-minded folks, advertise your blog, and discover others.

I’ll let you in on something I learned during the challenge:  one of the best ways to bring traffic to your site is to visit other sites and leave comments.  I’ll let you figure out how it works when you sign up for the challenge, but listen to this…

When I started the challenge, Alexa ranked my site 5.7 millionth in the world in traffic.  About a month later, I am now at 1.3 millionth.  You may or may not put much stock in those types of rankings, but I’ll say this: something happened to my site over the last thirty days.  Wanna guess what it is?

3.  Find your niche

Maybe you’ve already found your little corner of the web.  But there is a good chance, if you’re anything like me, that you might not have found your niche quite yet.

Or:  you might think you know what your blog is about, or should be about, but you really don’t.

Guess what?  Posting 30 days in a row will most likely answer any and all questions about what you truly want your blog to cover.  And if it doesn’t, it will certainly have raised the right questions and have given you the tools and skills to answer them.

4.  Sarah

Yup, one name.  Sarah.  She’s a blogging wizard.  Her site is “internationally recognized as a top content marketer” by Forbes and MSN.

So, she’s a big deal in the internet business… Yet, she still has time for all the folks working through her 30 day challenge.  Within minutes of sharing my daily posts on the Facebook page, she “likes,” comments on, and shares them. Not just mine.  Everybody’s.

And it get’s better.

Once I emailed her with a question or two.  I figured she would get back to me within a few days or even a week. After all, Sark e-Media is busy doing its thing… Nope, within ten minutes I had a thoughtful response.  I don’t know how she does it, but she does.

But please be realistic…

This is a challenge, not a warm blanket and foot massage.  Posting 30 days in a row is grueling.  It’s not for everybody, but if you are serious about growing your blog for whatever reason, you cannot pass up this free bloggathon.

That’s right, the whole darn thing is free.  Some of the resources you will be exposed to might require a subscription or one-time payment, but the 30 day’s worth of emails with links to information-rich blog posts come to you absolutely free.  As does your choice of gifts when you finish the challenge.

What are you waiting for?

Sign up.  Get started now.  Honestly, if you are serious about blogging, you cannot miss this free opportunity.  Stop reading this post (cuz it’s over anyway) and click on one of the several links I’ve provided throughout this post.  It will change the way you blog forever.
